Mark and Anna Lancaster

Family: 13 Year Old son, Frank, in 8th grade at Explorer. 7 Year old daughter, Dianna, in 2nd grade at CCE.

Favorite PTA Event:  Mark and Anna both love Bingo Night. They feel seeing all the families, teachers, and the craziness of the games make a great evening.  

Hobbies: Anna runs, hikes and plays tennis and Mark enjoys cycling.

More About our Volunteer: Anna grew up in Scottsdale and attended ASU film school. She worked on various movies and at Channel 3 before becoming a stay home Mom. Mark grew up in New Hampshire and went to Rose-Hulman. He is an electrical engineer at Freescale Semiconductor. Anna and Mark met when Anna’s sister, Mark’s co-worker, set these two up on a blind date!  They have been married for 16 amazing years. 

PTA Involvement: Anna has chaired the Summer Reading Program for many years and Mark is on this 5th year with the PTA Directory.  Anna is also in charge of Beautification which mostly consists of watering the pretty flowers in the front planter every couple days.  They both also help out on non-PTA activities in the classroom such as typing stories, being room parent and chaperoning field trips.
